What We Collect and Why

Hexplanner is a browser-based planning tool. The marketing site (hex-planner.com) and the app (app.hex-planner.com) do not require an account. We collect personal data only in the limited cases described below.

1. Analytics — Simple Analytics

We use Simple Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool, to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. Simple Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individuals, and does not collect personally identifiable information.

It collects only aggregated, anonymous data:

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding aggregate site usage. No consent is required because no personal data is processed and no cookies or similar technologies are set.
Processor: Simple Analytics BV (Netherlands, EU). See their privacy policy.

2. Behavioural Analytics — ContentSquare

With your consent, we also use ContentSquare to record session interactions (clicks, scrolls, mouse movements) and generate heatmaps and session replays. This helps us improve the user interface.

ContentSquare collects:

ContentSquare uses cookies and/or local storage to function. It is loaded only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline" or ignore the banner, ContentSquare is not loaded and no related data is collected.

Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the site's cookies and local storage in your browser, or by using the ContentSquare opt-out.
Processor: ContentSquare SAS (France, EU). See their privacy policy.

3. Contact Form

If you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name, and the contents of your message.

We use this data to respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to and managing partner enquiries.
Processor: Form submissions are handled by Formspree, Inc. (United States). Formspree stores submissions on its servers and forwards them to our email. Transfers to the United States are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses. See Formspree's privacy policy and DPA.
Retention: Partner enquiries are retained for up to 24 months from the last contact, after which they are deleted unless an active business relationship exists.
