1. Who We Are

Hexplanner ("the Service") is operated by Orbital Cat, NIP 5571639761, Pobiedziska 15/34, 61-049 Poznań, Poland ("we", "us"). Contact: orbitalcat.ap@gmail.com.

2. What the Service Is

Hexplanner is a browser-based tool for planning modular LED panel layouts. It generates layout drawings, a bill of materials (mainly the number of panels needed), and estimates of lighting conditions and power for a space. The panels are supplied by various manufacturers and are assembled and connected by you; the way they connect to power varies between products (for example, a plug or bare-wire leads). The Service does not require an account.

3. The Service Is a Planning Aid, Not a Guarantee

All outputs — including panel counts, the bill of materials, any estimate of lighting conditions (such as brightness or light levels), estimated power consumption, and any suggested number of power connections (which we suggest to help achieve even, flicker-free lighting across a layout) — are approximate estimates generated automatically from the information you enter. Actual results depend on factors outside our control, including your room's dimensions, surfaces, existing light, and how you install the panels. The outputs are provided for planning and illustration only and do not guarantee any particular result. Any suggested number of power connections is a recommendation for lighting quality and is not a statement about electrical safety or capacity; the manufacturer's limits for your panels always apply.

4. Your Responsibility to Assemble and Verify

Hexplanner helps you plan a layout, but you select, assemble, connect, and install the panels yourself. Panels come from different manufacturers and connect to power in different ways (for example, with a plug or with bare-wire leads), so before you buy or build you should confirm that the panels, connectors, and connection method suit your needs using the manufacturer's specifications and instructions. You must assemble, connect, and install the panels in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and any electrical or safety regulations that apply where you live, and where a connection involves wiring or other work beyond the manufacturer's intended simple use, you should use a suitably qualified person where the product or local rules require it. You are responsible for the choices you make based on the Service's estimates and for the safe assembly and installation of your system.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that any calculation or estimate is correct or complete.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service's estimates, including the cost of incorrectly ordered components or any damage to property or equipment.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for wilful misconduct, and we do not limit any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its code, design, user interface, and the Hexplanner name and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, resell, or create a competing product from the Service or its assets. The layouts you create are yours; we claim no ownership over your designs.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it by automated means beyond normal use, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

9. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and highlight the change on the site. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Poland, except where mandatory law gives a consumer the right to bring proceedings in their own country.
